ABOUT
Ihsaan Design, by Azhar Majothi
I’m an artist, illustrator, graphic designer and Arabic calligrapher. I have practised art and design from a very young age and it’s always been something people told me I would make a career out of!
After several years working as an administrator at HSBC, NHS and Next, I started Ihsaan Design in 2008 and took the plunge into the world of freelancing. Since then, I have been fortunate to work with a wide range of clients from around the world including UK, USA, Kenya, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
I am an avid reader and I love camping, BBQs and Arabic calligraphy which I have been practising since 2008. Along with running Ihsaan Design, I have recently completed a MA in Islamic Studies from the University of Wales TSD and I am currently completing a PhD in Theology at the University of Nottingham.
Why Ihsaan Design?
The word iḥsān (إحسان) signifies excellence, proficiency and perfection. A famous hadith reads: “God has prescribed iḥsān in all things…” My work ethic revolves around this hadith and so I do my best to give every client the best customer service and complete every project to the best of my ability.
